Loiste-huivi/ Spotlight scarf

Syksy on villahuivien aikaa. Tämä kaunis malli on Janina Kallion kirjasta  Lumoavat neulehuivit by Woolenberry. Huivi on nimeltään Loiste ja päätin tehdä sen kauan kaapissa jemmatusta Louhittaren Luolan langasta ja lisäsin siihen harmaan Dropsin Nord langan toiseksi väriksi.

Autumn is the time of wool scarfs. This beautiful pattern called the Spotlight is from a scarf pattern book by Janina Kallio. I knitted this scarf from a yarn that I had stashed for a long time. The yarn is beautiful hand dyed yarn by Louhittaren Luola. I added the light gray Drops Nord as the other color to balance the vibrant orange.

Tätä huivia on tullut käytettyä jo paljon. Se on ihanan suuri pidettäväksi pakkasilla talvitakin päällä ja näin syksyisin harteilla. Värit sopivat ihanasti syksyyn. Tästä taisi tulla yksi eniten pidetyistä huiveista.

This scarf has been used a lot already. It is large enough to be worn over a jacket in the winter although the colors are definitely autumn colors. This turned out to be one of my most worn scarfs.

Pitsi osuus ei yllättäen ollut ollenkaan vaikea tehdä ja onnistui kerralla. Näyttää ja tuntuu kauniilta.

The Lace pattern wasn't at all hard to make and I got it the first time around. This looks and fells beautiful to me.
