Novita wool

 

This is a beautiful and warm (100% wool) sweather I knit for my 80 year old mum for her request. This was a Christmas present for her. The colors are very much her favourite. I think that is why she picked this pattern.

This will most likely be worn a lot as my elderly parents live in Lapland where they were born and raised.

The design is by Niina Laitinen and it's made from Novita wool - 100% wool yarn. Most of the colours are the same as in the pattern. 

This is an axcellent equipment to be able to knit in the dark winter evenings, but the light does not bother others watching a movie - or for the odd night knitter (  me) does not keep others awake. I genuinly recommend. ( I'll find you a link for this)

I like Niina Laitinen's designs. I knit her Christmas calendar KAL most years. Maybe I should make a blog post about that?

I like her designs. They are quite simple, but look beautiful. The socks are very warm as they have lots of pattern on them. The patterns are suited to my hand knit perfectly.
