Vaaleansiniset sukat sain valmiiksi hiihtolomalla ja beiget myöhemmin keväällä. Molemmat tulivat itselle käyttöön.
These socks I knitted on the spring break in Ylläs, Lapland. I needed warm socks for my self, and I liked the color.
The inspiration came from the scenery, and the cold that creeps in after fun day outside in the snowy ski slopes and sauna.
The yarn is very familiar 7brothers DK yarn (80% wool 20% polyamidi, 100g/3,5 oz = 200M/218 YDS). This is the yarn that I use most mainly because it is easy to find in many beautiful colors, like this one. It is also machine washable, and keeps its color well. Any wool yarn with polyamidi you can get the same gauge will do just fine👍There are so many to choose from in each country and store.
